Brad Isles is the Web Content and Social Media Manager for Grove City College. He works in the Office of Marketing and Communications to maintain content for the College’s external website and social media channels, and also designs, administers and provides technical support for department and organization websites across campus.
A former sports writer and assistant sports editor for The (Sharon) Herald, Brad previously served as editor of the twice-weekly Allied News in Grove City. During his newspaper career he won Keystone Press Awards presented by the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association, and was named Community Newspaper Holdings’ Weekly Newspaper Designer of the Year in 2004. His writing and photography has also appeared in GeDunk, Grove City College’s alumni magazine, Grove City Magazine and other regional newspapers.
Brad is currently the newsletter editor for the Pennsylvania Chapter of Trout Unlimited, a member of the Neshannock Chapter of Trout Unlimited, the Outdoor Writers Association of America, and is actively involved in the Pennsylvania Outdoor Writers Association. He enjoys fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, disc golf, live music and traveling. He lives on a four-acre farmette in the gently rolling hills of Western Pennsylvania with two dogs, four cats, 12 chickens, his wife and more fruit trees than he can count.
